Manufactured in Pomigliano d’Arco, near Naples, this model represents the synthesis between the brand's glorious past and electrified future – a tribute to the soul of Arese, the historic birthplace of the biscione emblem.

With the new Junior Sport Speciale, the Alfa Romeo brand renews its tradition of special series that combine elegance, sportiness and cutting-edge technology.

Following the success of the Intenso version, the Junior Sport Speciale becomes the star of the 2026 model line, best expressing the dynamic character of the sports compact, while enriching it with new styling details and premium materials.

Designed for those who want a compact car with an authentic sporty spirit but an accessible positioning, the new Junior Sport Speciale combines refined aesthetics with a comprehensive equipment package, positioning itself at the heart of the premium segment.

The model adopts a modern platform shared with other vehicles in the Stellantis group, but it has been carefully tuned by Italian engineers to deliver the brand's characteristic touch - that balance between emotion and precision that Alfa calls Cuore Sportivo.

In addition to performance, the Junior Sport Speciale also incorporates the brand's new sustainable design language: recycled materials, plant-based fabrics and optimized production processes significantly reduce environmental impact, without compromising luxury and driving pleasure.

With the Junior Sport Speciale, Alfa Romeo reaffirms that mechanical passion can indeed coexist with electrification. It is a new chapter written with the same red ink that has run in the brand's veins since 1910.

The exterior stands out thanks to the glossy black exterior kit, with silver inserts on the side sills and bumpers, special lower skid plates with specific finishes, 18-inch Fori alloy wheels in a two-tone Matt Miron Diamond Cut finish and the exclusive Sport Speciale badge that highlights its uniqueness. The tinted rear windows and the optional two-tone roof, available with all the colour options in the range, complete the silhouette that is unmistakably Alfa Romeo. Inside, craftsmanship and attention to detail define a sophisticated environment. 

The Junior Sport Speciale is the most powerful version of Alfa Romeo's new electric compact. With its flowing lines and muscular proportions, the model immediately conveys the brand's sporting DNA. The front features the iconic Scudetto shield reinterpreted in a closed format, housing sensors and LED daytime running lights, while the slim headlights evoke the feline gaze of classic Alfas from the 1960s and 1970s.

The interior, meanwhile, is a true celebration of the driver: Alcantara sports seats with red stitching, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and an immersive digital dashboard designed to offer a purely emotional experience.

Inside, craftsmanship and attention to detail define a sophisticated environment. The heated seats, with electric adjustment, feature the distinctive perforated Alcantara with a bright insert and “ice” inserts on the front seats. The same material covers the instrument panel, central tunnel and door panels, while the steering wheel, combining leather and Alcantara with contrasting stitching, offers the tactile feel typical of the Alfa Romeo sporting driving experience. The stitching and logo on the dashboard, the aluminum pedals and the ambient lighting contribute to creating an exclusive atmosphere.

The Junior Sport Speciale can be further enhanced with the Techno package. From the level 2 autonomous driving with adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, to the Matrix LED headlights and the navigation system, every detail has been designed to enhance the driving experience and optimize safety. It also includes a 180° reversing camera, 360° parking sensors, hands-free tailgate opening, wireless smartphone charging, electrically foldable door mirrors with blind spot detection, an electrochromic door mirror and a six-speaker audio system with front and rear USB ports.

The equipment is completed by the Cargo Flex Kit for the luggage compartment, while a panoramic sunroof is available as an option, along with a heated windscreen.

At the heart of the Junior Sport Speciale is a 240 hp electric motor, powered by a high-density battery pack. Front-wheel drive, combined with a torque vectoring system and the Dynamic mode calibration of the DNA selector, ensures immediate responses and agile cornering behavior – qualities that have always defined a true Alfa Romeo. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes around 6 seconds, while the range exceeds 400 km, depending on the driving cycle.

Finally, the Sport Speciale engine range includes a 145 HP front-wheel drive hybrid, a 145 HP Q4 all-wheel drive hybrid and a 156 HP 100% electric BEV version equipped with an on-board charger of up to 11 kW.

The new Alfa Romeo Junior Sport Speciale is therefore a model with a distinctive character, capable of reinforcing the brand's sporty and premium identity, making every journey an authentic Alfa Romeo driving experience.
