SEMA 2025
Nissan Dune Patrol
The year is 2025, and the stage is the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, a traditional showcase for the most daring and experimental creations in the automotive world. It is there that Nissan presented one of its most impressive proposals in recent times: the Dune Patrol Concept. A prototype that combines the legendary robustness of the Patrol – known worldwide for its resistance in extreme conditions – with the creative audacity of the NISMO division, specializing in performance and design.
Inspired by rally competitions and expeditions through the dunes of the Middle East, the Dune Patrol Concept emerges as a true off-road colossus. Its base is the Nissan Armada full-size SUV, adapted with a series of exclusive components that transform it into a vehicle ready to face the most unforgiving deserts on the planet.

The Nissan Dune Patrol is a premium, ultra-comfortable support vehicle for the most extreme off-road events.
Paying homage to the Nissan Patrol's desert racing history, the Dune Patrol takes the PRO-4X's rugged capabilities to the next level with a custom long-travel racing suspension, flared fenders and NISMO 18-inch AXIS wheels, shod in 37-inch Yokohama GEOLANDAR M/T G003 tires.
Nissan Frontier Rapid Runner...The Frontier Rapid Runner(image below) is a purpose-built off-road pickup truck that borrows parts from the Titan, rides on 37-inch tires and replaces traditional doors with the freedom of side guards.
The vehicle features a modified suspension, higher ground clearance, 17-inch wheels and practical equipment (roof rack, front light bar, sliding drawer system, Nismo solar panels with batteries and even an on-board shower).
Does doors-off automatically equal off-road party time? It has for Jeep for decades. Now Nissan wants in on the open-air fun—at least in an aftermarket fashion. The automaker has taken a Frontier and turned it into something you could actually use to explore the, well, frontier. Say hello to the Rapid Runner.

It might not be as "rapid" as Chris Forsberg’s Racing Patrol, but the Frontier Rapid Runner is a beast that’s ready to play on any trail you throw at it. Nissan kicks off the party by seriously upgrading the underpinnings of this pickup. The team borrows beefier suspension bits from the larger Titan and swaps in the Titan’s entire rear axle. This Frontier stands taller thanks to a two-inch body lift, custom Bilstein components, and massive 37-inch tires.
Nissan fits the Rapid Runner with prototype Nismo wheels—17-inch rollers wrapped in 37-inch Yokohama Geolandar mud-terrains. That’s a lot of rubber for a midsize pickup, and it should make climbing and maneuvering over trail obstacles feel as comfortable as a summer breeze.
