MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 RS Sartoria Meccanica

MV Agusta has unveiled Sartoria Meccanica, an ultra-exclusive custom program that turns any current MV into a genuine one-off. Developed and run by the now fully operational MV Agusta Centro Stile at the brand’s historic Schiranna headquarters, the initiative blends Italian craftsmanship with in-house design and engineering to deliver tailor-made machines for customers who want absolute exclusivity.

MV Agusta has always been known for manufacturing exclusive motorcycles and launching special versions in limited series. Now, the company takes a step further by creating its Sartoria Meccanica program, for which it presents its Superveloce 1000 RS as an example.

The MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 RS Sartoria Meccanica is the first example of the most advanced and exclusive customization program developed by the Italian brand. Each unit becomes a unique piece, tailored to the customer's taste and vision.

The launch of Sartoria Meccanica coincides with the full operation of the new MV Agusta Centro Stile at the brand's historic headquarters in Schiranna. This program combines design and engineering expertise, combining Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge engineering. Every component and detail is designed to meet the demands of each customer. Sartoria Meccanica begins with a consultation between the client and the design team, where no detail is left to the digital configurators. Each project is developed personally, and there are no restrictions on what the client can create together with the dedicated MV Agusta team.

The work is carried out across different sections, colors, upholstery, and graphics, with exclusive paints, custom color combinations, and graphic details inspired by the brand's heritage or the client's vision. Advanced materials such as carbon fiber, titanium, block-machined aluminum, and premium leathers are used. Special components, using special MV Agusta parts and the creation of other special parts that are at the core of the Sartoria Meccanica process, and hand-finished details, crafted by the finest Italian artisans, including hand-stitched seats, CNC-machined metal components, and high-precision carbon fiber fabrication.

The program offers three levels of customization that can be applied to the entire MV Agusta model line. The Sartoria Meccanica Essenziale package allows the creation of exclusive colors and graphics and the selection of preferred upholstery materials, with no limits on graphic customization. The second level, the Sartoria Meccanica Ricercato package, is more complex and exclusive. Customers can choose to graphically customize technical components such as the frame, swingarm, and steering column, and have the option to choose the wheels to be mounted on their motorcycle.

The most advanced level is the Sartoria Meccanica Iconico package, which has no limits. This package includes all the previous options and is further enriched by the opportunity for customers to choose dedicated high-performance components and unique technical solutions, such as a custom helmet that matches the motorcycle's graphic design or a custom kickstand. Each request is meticulously evaluated and, if technically and legally feasible, executed with the utmost precision. 

The process begins with a direct, in-depth consultation between the customer and MV Agusta’s design team – no online configurators. Every element is specified through dialogue, with each request assessed and, if technically and legally viable, executed to MV standards. Finished bikes receive a certificate of authenticity and a Sartoria Meccanica plaque, identifying them as true one-of-one creations.

All motorcycles created under the MV Agusta Sartoria Meccanica program are works of art and are delivered with a certificate of authenticity and a plaque bearing the Sartoria Meccanica insignia, identifying them as truly unique. They are covered by the official MV Agusta factory warranty for 5 years.
