VWCO ESTREIA NOVA GERAÇÃO DO e-DELIVERY

Volkswagen Brazil launches the new e-Delivery with greater load capacity

Volkswagen Brazil launches the new 11-ton e-Delivery, reaffirming its commitment to the constant development of electric mobility to offer even greater availability, efficiency and performance. The vehicle is equipped with a new 280 kW electric motor, providing a 7% increase in torque, with 2,300 Nm available from the start.

This improved performance ensures greater strength and responsiveness, optimizing transport operations in various sectors. With a GVW of 11,400 kg, another novelty is its GVW and GVW of 15,000 kg, with a towing capacity of 3,600 kg, the largest in the category. This configuration, combined with the weight reduction in the e-Delivery components, increases the payload capacity to 6,300 kg in the version with greater autonomy, an increase of 16% compared to the first generation launched in 2021, ensuring greater productivity and profitability for operators.

Another highlight of the new vehicle is the factory-fitted e-PTO (Power Take-Off) that provides better cost-benefit for the customer. The e-PTO is designed for various applications, with a capacity of up to 30 kW of power, serving from traditional applications such as general cargo boxes to special applications such as maintenance of high-voltage power grids. This system allows the use of electrical energy from the batteries to power auxiliary components, such as cranes, pumps and compressors, resulting in greater energy efficiency.

Among the chargers, the VW electric truck's differential is the optional alternating current (AC), ideal for applications that allow slower charging, with a lower investment cost for this option. The charger is available in two versions, 11 and 22 kW. The new direct current (DC) chargers are optimized with a new battery cooling system and provide greater availability for the vehicle, charging any battery variant from 0 to 80% in up to one hour.

The well-known regeneration system is still present in the new truck, which can recover up to 40% of the energy during deceleration, increasing efficiency and battery savings. The model comes with options of three or six battery packs, which provide up to 250 km of autonomy.

In terms of comfort, the full air suspension on the rear axle ensures a smoother and safer ride. The new generation also features electronic brakes (EBS) and an electronic stability control system (ESC), providing greater performance and safety when braking and maneuvering.

The recently launched Highline package is also available for the new e-Delivery. In addition to all the features of the Prime package, it offers more technological differences: 100% digital instrument panel and multimedia center, providing a more connected driving experience, with a wide range of information for the operator, ranging from battery recharging to information on consumption and energy regeneration for the batteries.
