Pecco Bagnaia se ha impuesto en Austria ante Brad Binder

Bagnaia sweeps the Red Bull Ring

Italian Pecco Bagnaia rockets towards his second MotoGP world title with a sublime victory at the Red Bull Ring, capping off a perfect weekend at the Austrian Grand Prix by winning both the sprint and the race leading every lap from pole to raise his income to 62 points. The South African Brad Binder has repeated the second position from yesterday, with the Italian Marco Bezzecchi completing the podium.

Pecco Bagnaia made a fantastic start with Brad Binder close behind him, while behind him Jack Miller was third with Álex Márquez passing Luca Marini after just a few corners to move into fourth. Jorge Martín also started well, placing seventh when they told him that he could enter to complete the long lap that was imposed on him due to the incident in the first corner of the sprint.

He entered to serve the sanction and returned to the track 13th, leaving seventh position to a Maverick Viñales who was looking to reach the quartet that Álex Márquez would lead by beating Jack Miller under the gaze of Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini. Ahead, Bagnaia and Binder quickly put land in between.

Miller had no rhythm and was also passed by both VR46 bikes, in a group that quickly split with Márquez and Bezzecchi letting go of Marini with Miller finding himself trapped by Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaró. Behind, Miguel Oliveira went into the pits due to vibration problems in the front wheel.
