SSANGYONG
SUV Tivoli with renewed look
The SsangYong Tivoli is one of the vehicles with the highest sales figures for the Korean brand at an international level. Now, it receives a facelift to continue conquering customers all over the planet. For now we can only see it in the 'Korean' format under the KG Mobility emblem.
Externally, the most important changes to the Tivoli are on the front, which includes LED headlights for all versions (depending on the markets), a more wraparound bumper with a sporty style and new designs for alloy wheels. At the rear, the bumper and taillight housings are new.
As for the interior, there is a correctly designed dashboard that debuts a large screen for the multimedia system, new climate controls and a 100% renovated center console. Materials and finishes go up in quality to ensure a more attractive set.
Among the available equipment, the brand indicates Smartbeam LED headlights, signal reader, alert and lane assistant, object detector in blind spot and in reverse gear, rear camera, parking sensors, automatic braking in the city, fatigue detector and pedestrians, etc.
Other elements available are ventilated and heated seats, keyless entry and start, electric sunroof, leather upholstery, integrated garage remote control, configurable instrumentation, driving mode selector, alloy wheels, folding mirrors, etc.
The engines announced for South Korea include the interesting 1.5 Turbo engine with 163 hp in combination with a 6-speed automatic transmission and simple or all-wheel drive. The most basic option has a 1.6 MPI block with 126 hp that is only sold with automatic transmission and simple traction. For western markets it should arrive with the turbo in versions with 149 and 163 hp, although it is not yet confirmed.
