Bagnaia held the party in Misano
Pecco Bagnaia delighted the Italian fans in a perfect MotoGP weekend. He was pole, won the Sprint Race and, this Sunday (11), it was his turn to win the main race of the Italian GP, held in Misano.
The current champion of the category just wasn't the leader in the first corners of the race, when Jack Miller took the lead after starting well, but soon resumed the first place. He was even threatened by Jorge Martín, who finished second, but without suffering effective pressure. The podium was completed by Johann Zarco, who overcame Luca Marini in the final stretch of the race.
Bagnaia is more leader than ever in the championship. Marco Bezzecchi, his main opponent this year, did not repeat Saturday's performance and ended up only in eighth place.
Marc Marquez, six-time MotoGP premier class champion, has suffered yet another crash and remains without finishing a major race in the 2023 season.
