L200 Triton Sport Savana arrives in the 2024 line for the Brazilian market...Mitsubishi L200 Triton Sport fans rejoice. The Savana version is back in Brazil in a new generation. According to the brand, now the pickup made in Catalão (GO) is a special series. The suggested price of the Mitsubishi L200 Triton Sport Savana is R$ 309,990(local currency). Thus, it is positioned above the intermediary, HPE, pegged at R$ 296,990. And below the top of the line HPE-S, which comes out at BRL 326,990 (local currency).

The Savana differs from the other versions due to its equipment. In this sense, there is a snorkel, side steps, a bucket with X-liner anti-scratch material, a luggage rack with a ramp and an integrated multifunction box. According to the brand, this facilitates the transport of small objects.

The 17-inch steel wheels complete the package of visual items. They are shod in wide GoodYear Duratrack tires, measuring 265/60 R17.

The engine of the L200 Savana has not changed...The pickup, however, maintains the mechanical assembly of the other versions of the L200 Triton Sport. Thus, the engine is the 2.4 turbodiesel with 190 hp and 43.9 kgfm of torque. Anyway, the exchange rate has changed. According to Mitsubishi, the six-speed automatic gearbox had the first five gears shortened by 12%. In turn, the sixth was elongated.

Finally, the L200 Triton Sport Savana is available in four color options: Rally Yellow (from the photos in this article), Jizan Beige, Forest Green and Fuji White. The Savana special series is based on the HPE version. Therefore, both have a similar series item list.

Among Mitsubishi's medium pickup rivals are the Toyota Hilux and the Chevrolet S10. As well as the Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok.
