VOLVO

Volvo EX90 Excellence

EX90 Excellence...The EX90 Excellence, presented ahead of the Shanghai show, is a limited edition and premium variant of the Volvo EX90 that takes the premium experience to an even higher level.

On the outside, the Volvo EX90 Excellence undergoes a few small tweaks compared to its seven-seater sibling, giving it an even more confident and elevated look.

In addition to the two-tone scheme, there are also specially designed 22-inch wheels, optimized for aerodynamic performance, more power and better handling.

The real change, however, is happening inside. Most obviously, they removed the standard seats in the back row and replaced them with two individual seats, equipped with comfortable soft cushions.

Between the two rear seats is a refrigerator that can hold a large bottle. The center console features natural wood, as well as an integrated touch panel. There is also ambient light. The interior can be equipped with special wool upholstery or Nordico upholstery made from recycled plastic and organic materials.

Music is heard through a premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system featuring Dolby Atmos 3D Sound specially tuned for the four-seater EX90 Excellence. The sound comes, among other things, from the speakers integrated in the headrest.

Thanks to electric motors and four-wheel drive, the EX90 Excellence offers a smooth ride and a range of up to 650 kilometers under the CLTC driving cycle on a single charge.

“With the EX90 Excellence model, we demonstrate our ability to innovate in the top premium segment and meet specific market demands with our vehicles,” said Volvo’s sales director Bjorn Anvol. “It will be offered in China first because the Chinese market is extremely important to our company and the EX90 Excellence has been developed to meet the demand for premium cars.”

“The Volvo EX90 is a statement about where we are and where we’re going,” said Chief Operating Officer Javier Varela. “It’s all-electric, designed to further raise our safety standards, the first Volvo car to be truly software-defined and part of a wider ecosystem that connects to your home and other devices. The Volvo EX90 is in many ways the beginning of something new for Volvo cars.”

Volvo has not given any information about the price.
