GRECALE GT 250...The Maserati Grecale has been on sale for just under a year. The second SUV of the Italian brand landed on the market last June, and it cannot be said that it has been a real sales success, since at the close of last year, just over 2,300 units were manufactured, although it is true that the increase comes from being progressive.
The Grecale is the Tridente brand's bet for the D segment, the market category where the Ghibli was not able to conquer customers. It offers a line comprising three versions, from the GT with 300 hp to the 530 hp of the exclusive Trofeo, passing through the Modena with 330 hp, and all with four-wheel drive. A line that proves to be very exclusive, so the manufacturer has considered expanding the Grecale offer with a more attractive access version.
The new Maserati Grecale GT 250 does not differ from its immediately larger brother, preserving its natural elegance and sportiness intact. Looking closer, both outside and inside, there are no configuration differences between the two versions, so the only difference is in the technical specifications, as the two GTs also share the same 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine with All-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic transmission.
The fact that it is the access version does not prevent it from being configured to the customer's taste with all the options and equipment available at their disposal, so that the result will remain the same: the difference remains in the technical specification of the power, as Torque doesn't change, only performance.
For the time being, this new version is only for sale in Italy, it is unknown if it will be available in other markets to boost sales of the model. Everything will depend on Maserati's national division in each market and whether it will be considered necessary to boost sales.
