Defender by Chelsea Truck Company

To mark 75 years of the Land Rover Defender and 25 years of Kahn Design, British designer Afzal Kahn launches the new Defender Heritage Remastered by Chelsea Truck Company, paying tribute to Land Rover’s HUE166.

Heritage Remastered is an evolution of the Chelsea Truck Company Defender program, a range of custom Land Rover conversions. The timeless, refined styling of Heritage Remastered is available in 90 and 110 versions and includes a lower bumper; changes in components painted in the color of the body, the exclusive color “Colours of Kahn”; subtle fender flares, British Heritage RS 22-inch body-colored wheels; and everything culminates in a complete replacement of the Heritage grille.

The new Heritage Remastered features the retro-futuristic badge of Land Rover’s latest edition, adorned with contrasting 90 or 110 graphics. The Heritage grille is the centerpiece of the Heritage Remastered, which required development, prototyping and engineering time to match the classically styled grille with modern features. the new Defender.

Unlike the exterior styling, the interior is available in a range of traditional options from Saddle Tan leather to Vintage Houndstooth cloth.

Design elements include the square light signature in the rear lights of the current Defender.

Body-coloured is the lower bumper cover, subtly emphasizing the vehicle’s provenance to pay homage to the full-width steel bumpers seen on previous generations of Land Rover Defenders.

Adding to the Heritage Remastered’s timeless style is a contrasting roof and taillight surround in vehicle color, which separates the light housing to match the Heritage grille while also matching those on historic Defenders.

Heritage Remastered is offered in a range of traditional tones from the ‘Colours of Kahn’ collection, inspired by 75 years of Land Rover history. The Heritage Remastered has a limited edition spare wheel cover, with numbered graphics on the back.
