Acura Integra Type S 2024...Taking advantage of the Acura Long Beach Grand Prix, which was held last weekend in California, the Japanese premium brand Honda has decided to reveal its new sports model for the United States, the interesting Acura Integra Type S 2024.

As we can see in the images for the first time, it is an interesting high-performance sedan, but it will not arrive at Acura dealerships in the United States before next June. For now, the price of the car has not been announced either.

In any case, let's get to the point: the Integra Type S hides under the hood a powerful 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine, with an output of 325 hp at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 420 Nm, available between 2600 and 4000 rpm.

These figures make this Type S the most powerful Integra in Honda's history. The only option regarding transmission is a 6-speed manual gearbox, with 'punta-taco' or 'rev-matching' function and associated with a self-locking differential.

For now Acura has not reported performance figures, so we don't know how much it accelerates from 0-100 km/h or what speed it can reach, but we do know its weight, which is 1,460 kilograms. In any case, with 102 hp more than the conventional Integra with a 1.5 engine, its performance should be considerably better.

As for the cabin, as standard it includes heated sports seats with 'Ultrasuede' inserts, 10.2-inch digital instrumentation, a 9.0-inch multimedia screen, compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Head-up Display, ELS Studio sound equipment 16-speaker 3D and an induction charger for phones, for example.

We also know that the model includes a suspension with adaptive dampers, with Comfort, Sport and Sport modes, in addition to a thicker 29 mm stabilizer bar, Brembo front brake discs along with four-piston calipers, 19-inch wheels in a Shark Gray and 10-spoke design, shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in 265/30 measurements.

The Type S also sports body-specific panels such as a modified front end, an aluminum bonnet and new air intakes, as well as wider fenders, a rear diffuser and three generously-caliber central tailpipes.

Even so, Acura will offer accessories such as carbon fiber parts (spoiler, mirror housings...), 19-inch wheels in copper finish and a titanium lever for the gear lever.
