New generation of Subaru WRX 2023 has sales above average in the United States

The new generation of Subaru WRX 2023 had the best sales in the history of the line in February this year. Subaru sold 2,598 2023 Subaru WRX in the US alone last month.

Compared to February last year, sales grew by 8280.7%. A year earlier, the company sold just 31 Subaru WRX vehicles in the United States. In 2021, Subaru sold 1,721 Subaru WRX vehicles, 33.8% down from this year. The manufacturer did not specify how many of the 2,598 cars sold in February this year were equipped with manual transmissions.

The Crosstrek was Subaru's best-selling model in the United States this February, also launching its best month ever. Sales totaled 14,816 units, up from 14,476 a year ago.

Sales of the Legacy, Outback and BRZ models also increased, but none of the models improved the previous year's result by 10%. Sales of the Ascent, Forester, Impreza and Solterra models were reduced.

Subaru car sales increased by 2.1%, from 44,866 units in 2022 to 45,790 in 2023.
