The new JAC EV3 electric hatchback has already been spotted on the roads of China and will be officially launched on April 18th in China at a starting price of around $14,400.
The JAC EV3 has a retro style. At the front are two large oval headlights. JAC EV3 will be offered in different body colors including white, beige, gray, green and purple.
The cargo door is located on the left front fender. The JAC EV3 has retractable handles. The dimensions of the five-seat tailgate are 4025 x 1770 x 1560 mm with a wheelbase of 2620 mm.
The shape of the rear lights almost repeats the shape of the headlights. There is also a traffic light installed under the roof. The JAC branding is displayed in the center of the back. It is equipped with a single 95 horsepower motor and a lithium iron phosphate battery.
The EV3 will be the first JAC model equipped with 46 series large cylindrical batteries. Top speed is 150 km/h. The car is expected to offer three powerband options: 400, 500 or 600 km.
Inside, there's a digital instrument cluster, a huge central control screen and a two-spoke steering wheel. The JAC EV3 will be equipped with advanced driver assistance features such as self-parking.
