MERCEDES-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE BY MANSORY: UM BÓLIDO DE 880 CV E 1.490 NM

MB AMG GT 63 S E-Performance Mansory...With permission from Project One, the four-door Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E-Performance is the German manufacturer's most powerful production vehicle, as under its bonnet lies- It has a 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine that works together with another electric motor located on the rear axle. This engine is integrated into a 2-speed transmission with electric shift.

Nor does it lack an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential. Together, the four-door Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance generates a fantastic 831 hp and 1,400 Nm of peak torque. The car also has a 14 hp belt-driven starter generator.

The Affalterbach team of engineers worked closely with Mercedes-AMG's Formula 1 engine division in the UK to create a powerful yet lightweight battery pack. The 6.1 kWh battery tips the scales up to 89 kg. Together, the electric package produces 204 hp, so the car is focused on power, not range.

The GT 63 claims an electric range of just 12 kilometers, but it is faster than the GT Black Series Coupe, as it claims an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds (compared to 3.1 seconds) and takes less than 10 seconds to reach 200 km/h.

The question is: Can it improve? Clearly it does, and this proposal from Mansory is the best proof there is of that. The German specialist's updates raised the figures for the V8 mechanics to no less than 880 hp and 1,490 Nm of maximum torque. This allows the model to reach 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 320 km/h.

As usual, mechanical optimization is accompanied by a profound aesthetic revision. The changes start at the front, where Mansory has removed the car's grille. Also missing is a new bumper and carbon fiber splitter. Everything is complemented with a pair of aerodynamic fins at the front and multiple elements in yellow.

The icing on the cake at the front is a carbon fiber hood with large air intakes. In the side view there are different designs of 22-inch wheels, mounted on a set of yellow brake calipers. New carbon fiber gills on the front panels, as well as a black sticker, finish off the side.

The rear is just as spectacular as the front. There is a large fixed airfoil made of carbon fiber and a new diffuser made of the same lightweight material. Integrates four larger exhaust pipes. Finally, speaking of the interior, the black upholstery is combined with various yellow elements, carbon fiber moldings and the Mansory logo throughout the cabin.
