Motorola MA1, adapter without Android Auto is now on Amazon

Here we are, AAWireless and Carlinkit are no longer the only brands to market adapters to transform Android Auto into the Wireless version, i.e. without cable. If in recent days we have witnessed the arrival of Ottocast, we are now pleased to see that Motorola has finally decided to market its proposal in Italy too with an almost silent launch on Amazon.

For those unfamiliar with how it works, the Motorola MA1 is an adapter that connects directly to the USB port of your car and allows you, with just a few steps, to associate your Android smartphone with Android Auto using a wireless connection. The Motorola MA1 uses a USB-A connector, so newer USB-C equipped cars need an adapter as suggested by Amazon itself.

Generally most, if not all, vehicles will work without problems with adapters of this type; it is possible that it is a small incompatibility on some specific combinations but at the moment we do not have a list from Motorola. MA1 operates under a Google license, therefore its compatibility should be at the top of the category and it is reasonable to wait for continuous updates in this sense. In any case, the review will be available on our pages in the coming weeks.

As mentioned in the previous paragraph, Motorola MA1 is compatible only with Android Auto, therefore, if you have an iPhone and use CarPlay you will necessarily have to orient yourself on other adapters, such as those indicated in this guide.

Motorola MA01 is available on Amazon at this address at a price of around 90 euros, a value in line with rival solutions.
