Galaxy L7: Galaxy's first electrified car with a range of 1370 km

Yesterday a grand debut took place in China - Geely officially unveiled its new Galaxy brand and the first car launched under this brand. It turned out to be the crossover mid-size hybrid Galaxy L.

In the Galaxy L7, the company focused on equipment, safety and fuel efficiency. For example, there are eight layers of protection for the traction battery.

For China, the Galaxy L7 is a compact crossover, for the rest of the world it is mid-size. Dimensions are 4700 x 1905 x 1685 mm, the wheelbase is 2785 mm. In size, it is comparable to the Honda CR-V.

There are four screens in the cab. In front of the driver, as part of the digital instrument panel, there is a screen with a diagonal of 10.25 inches. Another screen with a diagonal of 13.2 inches and vertical orientation is in the center of the front panel. There is a 16.2-inch screen in front of the front passenger. There is a projection screen with a diagonal of 25.6 inches.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 single-crystal system is responsible for coordinating various functions. The car also received the new Galaxy N-OS, which accelerated the work of applications, reduced startup time and improved work with voice commands.

The power plant's output is 390 hp, the thermal efficiency of the internal combustion engine included is 44.26%, and Geely is very proud of this result.

The crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, the maximum speed is 200 km/h. Declared fuel consumption is 5.2 liters per 100 km (according to WLTC methodology), range of a fully loaded and fueled vehicle is 1370 km (according to CLTC methodology).

Cost starts at $29,000.
