STRADALE IR8 TRIBUTE...Revealed in 2018, five years ago, the Dallara Stradale was born as a two-seater sports car designed to be enjoyed behind the wheel, thanks to first-level performance and, above all, reduced weight , and since then the brand has released several editions.

In 2021 we met the Dallara Stradale EXP, an exaggerated circuit version with 500 hp of power and much more advanced aerodynamics, and just a year ago, the brand launched the Dallara Stradale D50 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company itself.

Now, the Italian manufacturer wanted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its first victory in the Indianapolis 500, in 1998, and it did so with the so-called Dallara Stradale IR8 Tribute, a special edition with an exclusive decoration and slight mechanical improvements.

The most striking part of the model is undoubtedly the decoration, designed by the Milanese design studio BorromeodeSilva, which displays the colors of the car that Eddie Cheever drove to reach the first podium position in that race in the United States, a quarter of a century ago.

The bodywork is blue at the rear and black at the front, with some mixed details, while the alloy wheels are special and are painted black with the brake calipers showing a yellow tone.

Also noteworthy are the XXV inscriptions (25 in Roman numerals) and the 23 stars that accompany them, which allude to the number of victories achieved in the Indianapolis 500 since that year, 1998.

In any case, the most important novelties are not in sight, since this IR8 Tribute (also available in an EXP version, exclusively circuit) will debut many technical updates, such as a new automated AMT transmission, derived from the EXP, which reduces the time of half gear changes.

Dallara also announces an improved brake system and a new intercooler, although other improvements have not been detailed. For the time being we do not know when deliveries will start, if its production will be limited or what its selling price will be.
