Defender 110 Pivot by ECD...ECD Automotive Design, an American company specializing in the restoration of Land Rover Defender models, of which we have already spoken on several occasions, presented its latest creation, the so-called Project Pivot, shortly after the Project Mayhem that we know a long time ago. a few days.

Unlike the dark 'Mayhem', this Land Rover Defender 110 Convertible sports a bright orange body color, which according to the company is the same Sunshine Orange tone used by Subaru. But it is not the only thing that comes from other manufacturers, as it also equips a General Motors engine.

The model, completely restored and modified, also incorporates a grille painted in the same orange color, as well as some details, including door hinges, air intakes and headlight frames, for example.

In this case, the removable roof of the Defender 110 Convertible is in black, matching the 16-inch diameter 'Sawtooth' wheels, which are also black and are shod with all-terrain tires from the manufacturer BFGoodrich.

The interior of this Project Pivot matches the exterior in terms of luxury, as although the design of the original cabin is simple, here there are cream-colored leather upholstery and modified Exmoor Modular seats, which incorporate heating, for example.

There's also no shortage of a black MoMo Prototype steering wheel, 'vintage' style instrumentation clocks and a JL Sound sound system with touch screen, which includes two USB inputs and is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, we assume that through cable.

At the rear, on the other hand, the two side folding seats are installed on the passenger side, which leaves plenty of cargo space. It should be noted that the model has a multipoint security cage that offers protection to its occupants.

Finally, under the hood of this Project Pivot we find an LS3 engine of General Motors origin, that is, a 6.2-liter 'small block' V8 block that appears coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission and whose performance figures were not announced. As standard, however, the LS3 engine offers 436 hp of power and 576 Nm of maximum torque.
