Inside, this edition sports the black and brown finish of the top-of-the-line trim in the US (the SEL Premium Package), but also includes synthetic leather upholstery, a panoramic glass roof, a 10.8-inch Head-up Display and a Bose sound system.

US customers will be able to choose between the gasoline engine version or the plug-in hybrid version, Outlander PHEV, but in both cases Super All-Wheel Control all-wheel drive is standard on this 40th Anniversary Edition.

In the United States, the Mitsubishi Outlander received an important restyling in 2021, with a more forceful design and an improved interior, with more technology, whose aim was to revive a model that, after years on the market, needed an update.

As for engines, the gasoline option is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder block that delivers 184 hp of power, while the plug-in hybrid version combines a 2.4-liter engine, also 4-cylinder and gasoline, with two propellers. electric, for a total of 252 hp.
