VÄTH TRANSFORMA O MERCEDES-AMG E 63 ESTATE EM UMA BRUTAL PERUA ESPORTIVA

MERCEDES-AMG E 63 ESTATE VÄTH...The Mercedes-AMG E 63 left the market a few months ago with a special edition, two versions that will return in mid-2024 aboard the new generation of the E Class Sedan and Estate. The most sporty station wagon of the star brand is gone, but the Germans at Väth have developed a special kit that makes this version as sporty as it is practical and versatile, on the same level as some supercars.

And that's almost without touching on the exterior appearance, because the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC Estate doesn't particularly stand out for a more aggressive aesthetic to match what it actually hides under the hood. One of the characteristics of this German specialist is discretion, the wildest wolves in the world with an image as delicate as a lamb. Väth has not paid any attention to the design of the front, which retains its typical interlocking air intakes.

But he retouched the rear very slightly, replacing the square frames of the exhaust pipes with spherical ones like those of the AMG 53 version. it comes around, because the 21-inch alloy wheels, mounted on 265 millimeters at the front and 295 millimeters at the rear, don't mean much either.

As well as the 20 millimeters that were cut from the height of the bodywork to the ground, thanks to the new springs in the suspension. However, everything changes when pulling away and listening to the sports exhaust system. Its most intoxicating sound demonstrates important touches in the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. The station wagon's engine, which, as standard, delivers a maximum power of 612 hp and a maximum torque of 850 Nm, rose enough positions to be at the height of the AMG GT 63 S E Performance without making use of electrification.

Väth installed a new intake duct and new turbos with higher supercharging pressure, in addition to larger intercoolers, managing to raise maximum power to 879 hp and maximum torque to 1,100 Nm. An important extra that translates into a top speed of 345 km/h, being able to reach 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. The tuner was forced to beef up the 9-speed automatic transmission with an extra oil cooler to handle the increased power level. A true monster for those who find the AMG's performance insufficient.
