Unprecedented footage taken of the 2024 Sentra model in China confirms model mid-lifecycle update
The 2024 Nissan Sentra appears to be the year/model that will receive a mid-lifecycle refresh, including a slight image change to stay current and in tune with the shapes of the latest models. And it was from China that some images were leaked that practically confirm this.
Recently, one of the best sources of leaks has been the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, which in its process of registering new products that will hit the market, tend not to take very good care of the way in which certain images are treated and , therefore, these end up appearing earlier than the brands would like.
What we see in the images is the apparent Nissan Sylphy 2024, the name Sentra receives in China. In fact, this same ministry leaked images of the current generation Nissan Sentra in 2019, several months before it appeared in the markets where it is present.
From this updated model we can notice a noticeable change in the shape of the grille, headlights, wheel design and the front in general. The back remains the same. It is expected to maintain the same aspirated 2.0-liter engine, in addition to debuting a version with e-Power technology that we will see at Kicks in Brazil in 2023, that is, a 3-cylinder 1.2-liter engine that works only as a generator of energy to power a battery and an electric motor with 136 hp and 280 Nm of torque.
