TOYOTA GR SUPRA GT4 EVO 2023: ESPORTIVO JAPONÊS ESTREIA MELHORIAS MECÂNICAS

GR SUPRA GT4 EVO 2023...After updating the street Toyota GR Supra, with the addition of a manual transmission version to the range, the Japanese manufacturer has focused its attention on the racing GR Supra GT4, which debuts a new Evo version with important improvements.

Since its racing debut in 2020, more than 50 examples of the GR Supra GT4 have participated in races around the world, with more than 50 victories, but now the brand has decided to incorporate a series of mechanical changes to improve the model's performance.

Toyota Gazoo Racing engineers increased the power and torque of the 6-cylinder turbocharged 3.0-liter engine, and optimized the cooling system, but did not specify the concrete figures.

This GR Supra GT4 Evo also incorporates a redesigned braking system, recalibrated ABS and the latest generation of shock absorbers from the specialist KW. In addition, the race car has a different stabilizer bar that, according to the brand, improves the stability of the model in fast corners.

While Toyota has made very little public data about the GT4 Evo public, it has announced that order books are now open, and that the price of the race car will come to the equivalent of about 950,000 reais before taxes(local currency).

In any case, those private teams that already have a GR Supra GT4 on their property will be able to upgrade their cars to Evo specifications, without the need to purchase a new car.

Among the options that can be installed in the car are a package for endurance racing, a rear view camera, a drink system for the driver, sensors to control tire pressure and suspension travel.

The model will make its racing debut next January at the 24 Hours of Daytona in the United States, during the inaugural round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season.
