APOLLO G2J: UM ESPETACULAR PROTÓTIPO 100% ELÉTRICO

G2J: a 100% electric sports car

Apollo Future Mobility Group, the company behind Intensa Emozione (IE), has been secretly working for the last two years on an entirely different model. If the IE is powered by a spectacular 6.3 V12 aspirated engine with 790 hp, of Ferrari origin, the new Apollo G2J is a 100% electric sports car.

For now it's in the prototype phase, but the production model shouldn't differ much, at least aesthetically speaking, if it actually hits the market. Judging by the large air intakes, we could imagine that it has a huge gasoline engine, but it is not quite like that.

This latest creation by Apollo seems pretty sensible, and we dare say it's normal, especially when compared to the wild IE. For now, the technical specifications have not been revealed, but we know that the G2J is being developed by teams of engineers from Germany and Japan.

This electric sports car, whose front part resembles one or another Maranello model, dispenses with conventional mirrors and adopts cameras. It has the charging socket mounted on the rear, between the lanterns with 'U'-shaped graphics.

Other notable qualities are the always spectacular butterfly doors, roof-mounted air intakes and enlarged wheel arches. The truth is that the car really draws attention.

Inside there are lots of exposed carbon fiber areas, combined with Alcantara for the seats, dashboard and center console. The Apollo G2J has a flat-bottomed steering wheel and brown leather upholstery, which is also used for the door handles and straps.

Three small screens in the center of the panel appear to control climate settings, while the start/stop button is situated just above them.

Between the seats is a rotary control, the power window buttons, two additional buttons and what appears to be a red emergency switch. A screen similar to that of a tablet serves as the digital instrument panel and there are monitors in the corners of the panel that offer the images captured by the external cameras.

Unfortunately, there is no news that this prototype will convert into a production car in the near future. However, Apollo Future Mobility Group says the G2J is a sign of things to come in terms of lightweight construction through carbon fiber and composite materials.
