Custin: the van to meet the needs of wealthy Chinese families

The Hyundai Custin has a complicated mission to meet the needs of affluent families. Developed in China and marketed there as Custo, the Custin is the export version that stands out for its great care in detail and very high quality.

For the time being, the new Hyundai Custin will be marketed in countries such as Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand, although later on it may reach other markets where this type of vehicle is in high demand, sharing a leading role with the successful Staria.

Although it doesn't look like it from its appearance, this model measures 4.95 meters in length and is offered with an interior suitable for up to seven passengers in very comfortable seats. In addition, the equipment is always very careful, being a vehicle that aims to win over those customers who see the Staria very 'van'.

The brand announced that the engine chosen for export is the 170 hp 1.5 TGDI in combination with an automatic transmission. The success in Taiwan was so great that in just a few hours it received 800 orders and there will only be 600 available for the remainder of the year.

The success is due to its imposing interior, complete equipment and sufficient engine at very acceptable prices. As for its price, it starts from the equivalent of 210,000 reais (local currency), but it has everything standard in terms of both safety and comfort, and its direct rivals usually cost around an additional 50,000 reais.
