911 Gunther Werks Project Tornado
Gunther Werks from California presents his latest project in the form of a light sports car based on the Porsche 911 (993 generation).
Named the Gunther Werks Project Tornado, the car weighs just 1,225 kg and has up to 700 HP.
The front wheel track is significantly wider than standard, the bodywork is made primarily of carbon fiber and much of the interior has been redone (hi-fi retro-look, alcantara upholstery, aluminum trim, fiber-back seats of carbon…) .
There are also electronically controlled dampers from Dutch specialist JRZ, with three levels of adjustment.
The American specialist Rothsport took care of the engine, which increased the volume to 4.0 liters, with 600 hp as standard and 700 hp in Track mode.
The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, while rear-wheel drive.
Gunter Werks has not announced pricing for Project Tornado, but the company is known to make a limited series of just 25 copies.
