Ceed GT by Barracuda & Giacuzzo...The KIA Ceed GT is one of the most interesting options that can be purchased in Europe today for anyone looking for a compact car with high performance and well equipped. It's a balanced car that isn't uncomfortable on a daily basis either.
That's precisely why aftermarket specialists Barracuda Racing Wheels and Giacuzzo collaborated to further amplify the sportiness of the compact. The program is offered in both ProCeed GT and Ceed GT versions and has no waste.
While the KIA Ceed GT might not be as powerful or popular as other saucy hatchbacks in the style of the Golf GTI, Focus ST and Hyundai i30 N, it has a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder T-GDI turbocharged engine that doesn't go unnoticed. It delivers 204 hp and 265 Nm of maximum torque.
It is coupled to a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission that sends power to the front axle. As a result, the Ceed GT accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, while the ProCeed GT does it in 7.5 seconds. Both have a top speed of 225 km/h.
The improvements focus on the bodywork of the KIA Ceed and ProCeed GT. Although in the images we can see a model before the restyling and a later one, it should be noted that updates are available for both. Starting with the ProCeed, it sports a silver colored exterior.
It is complemented with a new set of lightweight 19-inch Barracuda Dragoon wheels. They feature a gloss black finish and are shod with 225/35 R19 high-performance tires. Giacuzzo, for its part, adds a new front splitter, a larger roof spoiler and a new rear deflector.
All of this is finished in gloss black. The suspension of both vehicles was lowered with the help of Eibach shock absorbers. For the Ceed GT, the same wheel design was chosen, but with a shiny bronze finish. It contrasts with the black painted bodywork.
In this case, the Giacuzzo body kit adds aerodynamic extensions to the bumpers and side skirts with a bronze finish. At the rear, the protagonists are the quad exhaust pipes that protrude from the diffuser, which makes it appear much more aggressive than standard.
