BENTLEY FLYING SPUR MULLINER BLACKLINE: ADEUS AOS CROMADOS

Flying Spur Mulliner adopts a decidedly somber style, leaving the chrome behind

Nowadays black looking packages are in vogue. This applies to both ultra-luxury and more fuel-efficient vehicles, as Bentley's Blackline specification demonstrates.

For that reason, the 'darkening' treatment is now available on the Flying Spur Mulliner, bringing a decidedly dark look to the elegant British sedan, which thus meets the precepts of current fashion.

Regarding the changes made to the Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner Blackline, in short, almost all the exterior elements that used to shine have been swapped for a gloss black finish. It's not an absolute turn to the dark side, as the black vent screens on the fenders sport silver squares and shiny Mulliner branding.

The iconic hood ornament is black, but the wings are still shiny. The Flying Spur's grille also fuses black with chrome. And while special 22-inch wheels are part of the package, they feature polished inserts with a black finish.

Everything else, from the lower grille and dashboard ventilation screens to the mirror housings, window frames, lower door frame and headlight rims, is completely black.

However, this treatment only applies to the exterior of the Flying Spur Mulliner. Inside, everything remains the same, which for a Bentley means a lot of leather, chrome and aluminum in a luxurious cabin.

Likewise, there are no changes to the mechanical components, as this is a purely aesthetic package. The Flying Spur's Mulliner Blackline package is offered on vehicles with a hybrid V6, V8 or W12 engine.
