ALIENO

ALIENO UNUM

Alieno Unum: the electrified monster of Bulgarian origin

In Bulgaria there is a car manufacturer that from time to time gains some prominence, not so much for the production of its cars, as it has not yet manufactured any, but for the specifications it promises every time it issues a statement. Although they already surprised us in November 2020, when the vision of a hypersport called Arcanum was presented, now they surpass themselves with the company's second project: the Alieno Unum.

As with the aforementioned Alieno Arcanum, the brand only showed a series of virtual recreations, describing the Unum as “a two-door, two-seater robotic electric hypercar”. It doesn't take much thought to discover the great similarities between the designs of the Bulgarian brand and Lamborghini, as Alieno CEO and founder Ahmed Merchev has declared himself a great admirer of the Italian manufacturer on several occasions, confirming the provenance of his source. inspiration when developing your projects.

The vehicle's name derives from the Latin word 'unum', which means 'one'. Although its lines are the most spectacular, what really impresses are the figures announced by Alieno. Apparently, this car will be offered in two versions, called THF and TRS, both powered by a 100% electric propulsion system. The first one will be available in four different packages, with powers ranging from 2,610 to 5,221 hp. These figures will be reached thanks to the presence of no less than 24 electric motors.

Regarding the second, it retains the configuration of six thrusters per wheel, but adds the so-called 'Alieno Octopus Synergistic System', that is, a kind of variable geometry cold air thruster system, printed in 3D using titanium, steel and Inconel. They are located under the bodywork so as not to harm the aerodynamic lines of the car, in addition to providing extra grip, stabilizing and braking the Unum, and also eliminating dirt, snow, ice and rainwater from the surface of the car. road in front of the tires. Its creators even ensure that, in the event of the vehicle sinking in water, the compressed air will maintain the pressure inside the cabin and allow the hypersport to float.

In both cases the electrical energy comes from LiPo graphene cells and super-capacitors with three versions available depending on the capacity: 60 kWh, 120 kWh and 180 kWh. An 800-volt electrical architecture ensures that charging from 0 to 100% is completed in just 4 minutes, thanks to a maximum recharging power of 2,700 kW.

The Bulgarian brand is already accepting orders and its forecasts include having the first units ready between 2024 and 2027, with production taking place at the Tuhovishta plant in Bulgaria. The possibility of becoming an investor in the company was also announced, upon payment of 900 euros, thus benefiting from a 0.001% stake in Alieno. Prices range from 1.8 million euros for the THF version to 4.5 million euros for the TRS.
