SUBARU

SUBARU FORESTER STI SPORT EDITION ACABA DE SER APRESENTADO NO JAPÃO

Forester STI Sport Edition announced in Japan

It seems that Subaru has not stopped betting on sports-style products, as demonstrated by the launch in Japan of this new Subaru Forester STI Sport Edition which, although not a WRX STi, is a more interesting SUV than the standard one.

In any case, it looks like Subaru has its sights set on electrification, as all manufacturers do, and as demonstrated by the fact that they have recently unveiled their Solterra STI, a zero-emissions sports-style electric.

This edition, exclusive to the Japanese market, has a specific look, with black accents on different exterior elements (fog light frames, bumper moldings, skirts...) and STI emblems on the grille and tailgate.

In addition, it has 18-inch diameter wheels, finished in dark gray and shod with 'all season' tires in 255/55 R18 sizes. The Japanese brand offers four body colors, called Crystal White Pearl, Magnetite Gray Metallic, Ice Silver Metallic and Crystal Black Silica.

In the cabin there are also changes, such as a two-tone Nappa leather upholstery, in black and burgundy red, with red stitching throughout the interior, STI badges embroidered on the seat headrests and an analogue instrumentation also in STI design and with red accents. on both watches.

Under the hood of this Forester STI Sport there is only one option, in fact a 1.8-litre boxer turbocharged petrol engine, 4-cylinder, which offers 177 hp of power and 300 Nm of maximum torque, associated with a Lineartronic automatic transmission. type CVT and an all-wheel drive system.

The main novelty in terms of chassis is a revised suspension, now equipped with improved dampers and with a specific STI tuning, we assume stiffer than usual.

This Forester STI Sport Edition will go on sale in Japan this month, although the company has yet to announce the price of the edition.
