Fisker Ocean offers a battery warranty of 160,000 kilometers and a range of up to 560 km

The Fisker Ocean is an electric crossover whose customers get a ten-year battery warranty (or 160,000 kilometers), which is longer than any other electric model.

The warranty covers 75% of the original battery's capacity, according to the manufacturer's website. In comparison, Tesla's longest warranty for the Model S and Model X is 8 years or 240,000 kilometers.

Fisker also offers a basic warranty of 6 years or 96,000 km, such as 12 years of corrosion with unlimited mileage.

The Fisker Ocean was presented in production form at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2021 and will be sold in Sport, Ultra and Extreme versions. The basic version has a 275hp electric unit, accelerates from 0-100km/h in 6.9 seconds, and has a range of 400km. The ultra version has two engines, has 550hp and reaches 100km/h in 3.6 seconds, with a range of 560km.

The base model price in America is $37,499. Ocean is based on the platform by Magna Steyr, which will produce this crossover. Pre-production was recently launched at a factory in Austria and a comprehensive production process begins in November. Fisker is also planning an electric model priced at $29,900 in 2024.
