Roush Industries to Make Bollinger Multi-Purpose Electrified Vehicles

Bollinger selected Roush Industries as the contract manufacturer. As a result, "Bollinger will provide Roush with all the materials to assemble its all-electric vehicle platforms and chassis cabins in a fully equipped, operational and scalable facility in Livonia, Michigan."

No word yet on when production will begin, but Roush will build Class 3-6 vehicles for Bollinger. The companies will also work closely on pre-production and proof testing.

In a statement, founder and CEO Robert Bollinger said, "We will be building modern vehicles from day one here in Michigan." He added: “Roush has significant design and construction experience and we are excited to work with them to provide our commercial fleet customers with exceptional electric vehicles.”

Bollinger COO Brian Chambers said the partnership with Roush gives the company confidence to achieve its quality and production goals.

Bollinger commercial vehicles will be offered with various wheelbase and battery configurations, as well as advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane centering and automatic emergency braking.
