The Crosser ABS has evolved
The most complete and innovative motorcycle in the category is more modern, has gained a new optical set, new LED taillight, new fully digital panel and even a 12 volt socket next to the handlebars.
Along with the changes that gave the new Crosser an even more attractive and technological look, are all the qualities that made it a reference in agility, durability, economy and comfort.
The Crosser is available in two versions, S and Z. The S version brings a more urban style, with the low fender, close to the tire and engine with a matte black finish, reinforcing the sporty and more urban footprint of the bike. The Z version, on the other hand, takes inspiration from the off-road universe, with a higher fender, which guarantees a more radical and adventurous look.
Design...New optical set - The design of the Nova Crosser ABS, which was already innovative, became even more modern with the novelties of the 2023 model. The highlight is the new optical set with position lights and LED projector, much more impactful and efficient. It has greater amplitude and lighting power, making night driving safer, as well as offering greater durability and lower energy consumption.
New taillight - The design of the rear is also new. The new flashlight, with a more sporty design, is in LED, ensuring greater durability and better visibility for those behind.New Dashboard - At Crosser ABS, the all-in-one dashboard is completely new, and the most complete in its class. It is 100% digital and its new look reinforces the modernity of the new Crosser. Its LED lighting and blackout type background, further contrasting the information on the display, making it easier to read both during daytime and nighttime riding.
The new panel has the exclusive ECO function, ideal for those looking to further reduce fuel costs. It indicates the moment of riding when consumption is lower, helping to drive more economically.
It also has a useful gear indicator, which makes driving easier, a fuel level gauge, tachometer, speedometer, total and two partial odometers, clock and indicator lights for the ABS system, Blueflex system, system operation. injection and turn signals, high beam and neutral.
Performance...Engine - One of the highlights of the Crosser remains its engine. The air-cooled single-cylinder type, with 149 cc, is capable of generating a maximum power of 12.2 hp when fueled with gasoline, and 12.4 hp with ethanol.
It draws attention for its mechanical robustness and its breath, which make riding agile and fun, and stands out for its smooth operation with low vibration, which translates into a more comfortable ride.
Its power is made by the modern BLUEFLEX electronic fuel injection system, which allows fueling with gasoline, ethanol, or a mixture of both in any proportion. This system also guarantees low consumption, reflecting the excellent autonomy achieved with the 12-liter tank, allowing a wide interval between one supply and another.Suspensions - Much of the comfort offered by the Crosser is due to its suspensions, capable of filtering with great efficiency the imperfections of the floor and still guaranteeing smoothness and stability in the pilotage.
At the front, the telescopic fork has a travel of 180 mm and, in both versions, has accordion-type protectors, which protect the front fork from damage caused by impacts from stones, dust and other debris.
At the rear, the system is composed of a single shock absorber and its travel is 160 mm. Its fixation on the scale is made through links, which guarantee greater comfort and softness in the absorption of impacts. The main advantage of this system on an on/off-road motorcycle is that it makes the operation more progressive, with a damping that starts off soft and gets stiffer as it is more demanded, minimizing the risks of the suspension reaching the end of its travel.
Yamaha 3-year warranty and fixed price review...To prove that, in addition to being an incredibly agile, economical and recognizably tough motorcycle, the new Crosser is also a good deal and a quality product, Yamaha continues with a 3-year warranty. years old.
