BMW M135i MH1 350 BY MANHART: PURA POTÊNCIA E UMA ESTÉTICA RADICAL

BMW Manhart MH1 350: complete equipment package and a major powertrain upgrade

Before talking about the Manhart MH1 350 it is necessary to remember that a new era begins at BMW with the introduction of the front-wheel drive 1 Series. The model radically changes its design to attract a greater volume of audience. At the same time, it adopts a more modern and technological interior with high levels of quality, more complete equipment and greater doses of space.

Until now, it is offered with diesel and gasoline mechanics of up to 306 hp, which allows it to rival models of the size of the Audi S3 Sportback and Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC. However, it lacks the one to fight with the more powerful versions of its competitors. Everything indicates that we will not see a BMW M1, so the well-known German preparer Manhart offers a solution.

Remembering that the latest generation of the BMW M135i bets on all-wheel drive as standard and equips a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. It develops 306 horsepower and 450 Nm of maximum torque. It reaches a top speed of 250 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest compact compacts today.

This specialist usually offers us aesthetic modifications and interesting mechanical adjustments for the models of the Bavarian brand. This occasion also does not disappoint, as the BMW M135i had its power raised to a not inconsiderable 350 hp and 524 Nm of torque.

This increment of 44 hp and 74 Nm of maximum torque was made possible by the MHtronic auxiliary control unit and the ARMAspeed carbon intake. Power continues to be sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW's xDrive system.

Visual updates include a new 20-inch Manhart GTS Style wheel set, shod with 235/30 ZR20 tires on both axles. They are complemented by a lowered suspension with H&R springs that bring the Series 1 closer to the ground by 30 mm. An improved braking system and new Maxton Design body pack are also offered.

The kit includes a front splitter, aerodynamic side skirts with integrated fins, a dual roof spoiler and a rear diffuser. Once again, there is no shortage of Manhart stickers in silver and red. At the rear are quad exhaust pipes finished in matte black with a diameter of 90 mm.
