Audi RS Q8 O.CT: a true four-wheeled monster
The Audi RS Q8 has become a key model among the most prestigious preparers in the world. The brand's latest SUV features the same 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine. It offers 600 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque available between 2,200 and 4,500 rpm. However, O.CT Tuning's RS Q8 is even more brutal. The Audi RS Q8 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, while the sprint from 0 to 200 km/h takes just 13.7 seconds. It reaches a maximum speed limited to 250 km/h, but if customers opt for the dynamic package, that figure rises to a negligible 305 km/h.
It's a real monster, but the folks at O.CT Tuning are aware that there are many nonconformists eager for more and more power. That's why the German specialist has just presented his program for the powerful Ingolstadt crossover. It results in an RS Q8 with steroids both in terms of aesthetics and performance.
Outwardly, O.CT Tuning's RS Q8 isn't much different from the original model. In fact, the only difference is the 23-inch forged aluminum wheels that save 8 pounds of unsprung weight per wheel. Now, they do a great job filling in the wheel arches.
The highlight is under the hood. O.CT Tuning takes the RS Q8's figures up to a healthy 802 hp and 1,030 Nm of maximum torque. The boost is made possible by the Performance 3 package. This includes software optimization and a modified exhaust system that delivers a captivating sound.
The German tuner also offers the Performance 1 package. In this case it delivers 700 hp and 900 Nm of torque courtesy of the ECU upgrades. Finally, the Performance 2 package takes the engine to 735 hp and 950 Nm of torque through updates to the ECU and intake system.
