Forza 350: the scooter that is successful in Europe
Launched last year as a Comet 350, it exploded in major European markets, and in Italy, for example, it immediately jumped to tenth place on the scooter sales list, beating the 125 and 750 brothers. Would that be surprising? No way! As the Forzák are full-bodied, heavy-format, comfort-oriented maxi scooters, the 125 engine's design isn't exactly dynamic, and the 750 with its two-cylinder serial unit and DCT transmission is the other extreme of the category. So it's pretty clear that the carefully redesigned 350 is of great interest everywhere.
While the stroke volume has increased from 279 to 330 cm3 doesn't seem significant, peak power is now 29 horsepower, a 16% surplus. Aside from the fact that the new block is naturally more powerful than its predecessor across the entire speed range, its weight has not changed, and it's also worth mentioning that the roller valve shaft, plain bearing crankshaft and engine cooling enduro nozzle CRF450R . Although the block runs unevenly after a cold start, the Honda starts steadily and highway speeds of 137 km/h don't necessarily mean highways should be avoided. Not least because only positive things can be said about the driver's position, the design of the seat and the windshield. The electrically movable plexiglass plate can be adjusted to a 4-inch wider range than before, and a large opening has been created in front of the engine, significantly reducing the unpleasant effects of air vortices. While two smaller full-face helmets fit neatly into the session, the classic cigarette lighter charger has disappeared from the glove compartment to make room for a USB socket - great for charging your phone on the go.
Every detail of the Forza 350 looks like you want to make life easier for the owner, for example, the smart key not only connects to the ignition switch and the under-seat storage compartment opening mechanism, but also opens and closes the 45 box. liter back. But we can mention the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system, which allows us to control our phone while riding a motorcycle, that is, we can receive calls and listen to music without having to let go of the steering wheel for a moment.
In terms of practicality and usability, the Forza stands out, which is a true maxi-scooter also in terms of driving experience. With 15-inch and 14-inch wheels, it doesn't absorb road bumps very well and is noticeably heavy when riding in a more dynamic style.
ABSTRACT...A well thought out and well used machine, the 350 Forza is primarily for anyone looking for an above average windshield and comfortable scooter. The price is proportional, but the smaller SH350, for example, is offered by Honda for a price almost 400 thousand HUF cheaper.
