Ferrari F8 Spider by Mansory: 0 to 200 km/h in just 7.8 seconds, top speed of 340 km/h
After discovering his works on other models from the house of Maranello, it was only a matter of time before a Ferrari F8 Spider by Mansory appeared. The Italian convertible retains most of the attributes of the coupe version. A clear example of this is the rear mid-engine that powers it and that pays tribute to the recipe that has been so successful over the years.
It houses the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under its body with 720 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 770 Nm of maximum torque from 3,250 rpm. With these figures, it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in just 7.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 340 km/h.
Despite adding 70 kilos on the scale compared to the F8 Tributo when equipped with all available carbon fiber accessories (1,400 kg), it maintains its excellent figures. But we already know that Mansory is an expert at getting extra power out of every sports car, so it wouldn't settle for that.
Mansory adds to the Italian sports car both aerodynamic and interior parts, as well as an additional power kit under the skin. In the front and side views, carbon fiber plays a strong role. It is present in the splitter, in the hood air intakes, in the decorations over the front air intakes, in the side skirts and in the side air intakes.
At the rear, the Ferrari F8 Spider couldn't be less. Therefore, it also includes carbon fiber in the taillight covers, in the spoiler on the edge of the trunk lid and in the diffuser. Rounding off the set is a reduction in height and several details in yellow contrasting with the red of the bodywork.
As a finishing touch, Mansory has introduced its own set of black wheels that measure 22 inches at the rear and 21 inches at the front. Naturally, the outer rim has yellow accents to complement the large brake calipers peeking out from behind the wheels. The same tone was applied to the canards.
The main course of the preparation is hidden in the heart of the car. The engine develops a total power of 880 hp and a maximum torque of 960 Nm. The new figures allow the Ferrari F8 Spider to reach 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of over 340 km/h.
