Hennessey Mammoth 1000 ventures into the snow
Hennessey Performance knows how to win over customers with its most radical and eccentric creations. These range from an 808 hp Ford Mustang of pure muscle to a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. However, it's models like the Chevrolet Silverado 'Goliath 6x6', Velociraptor 6x6 and the latest Hennessey Mammoth 1000 that really catch the eye.
Taking advantage of the launch of the RAM 1500 TRX, the North American specialist wanted to show his wild proposal for the model. Remembering that it is destined to become the fastest and most powerful pick-up on the planet thanks to its 712 hp V8 engine and 880 Nm of torque. Even Hennessey has already advanced its plans for a 6x6 version.
It was named the Hennessey Mammoth 1000. The Texas tuner fitted a 6.2-liter supercharged Hellephant V8 engine. It is capable of developing a fantastic 1,012 hp and 1,314 Nm of maximum torque. For this, it installed an improved supercharger, new pulleys, stainless steel heads, a high-performance exhaust system and a new ECU calibration.
Hennessey reports that the Mammoth is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. This makes it the fastest RAM ever created by the company. At the aesthetic level, it adds a safety bar, new LED lighting and a suspension raised by 20 centimeters. The icing on the cake is the set of 20-inch wheels shod with 37-inch BF Goodrich tires.
Hennessey highlighted that each customer will be able to customize the interior to their liking. Now, all this is not exactly cheap and to acquire it you will have to shell out the astronomical figure of 122,000 dollars, not counting the extras that the customer wants to add or the delivery costs. Only 200 copies will be produced.
