RAM ProMaster is updated to face the competition in the USA

The Fiat Ducato is sold on North American soil under the name RAM ProMaster. As with the original model that was recently updated, now it's the turn of the versions that will be at US dealerships.

Outwardly, the changes affect the front, which now has new headlights with LED technology, new bumpers and redesigned alloy wheels/caps. There are also some new body colors and the option of the 360º Census Vision System.

Inside there is a new digital instrumentation with a configurable color screen, multimedia systems with the latest in connectivity, simpler and more modern climate controls, a new multifunction steering wheel covered in leather and updated door panels.

The equipment available also includes adaptive cruise control, Smartbeam, parking sensors, involuntary lane departure alert, keyless access, push-button start, remote controlled-folding thermal mirrors, etc.

Under the hood, the RAM ProMaster uses a 3.6 V6 engine from the Pentastar family that develops 280 horsepower and 339 Nm of maximum torque in combination with a 9-speed automatic transmission. 

This mechanic has undergone minor modifications to improve efficiency.

For the second half of this year, the brand also announced that it will feature a 100% electric version that will share all elements with the Fiat eDucato. Concrete details have not yet been announced, but it is known that Amazon has already placed an order.
