2023 HR-V SUV THAT WILL ARRIVE IN THE BRAZILIAN MARKET APPEARS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALLEGEDLY DEFINITIVE PROJECTION
At the beginning of last year, Honda unveiled the new generation HR-V for Europe and specified that the model for the Americas would be different. Today, after a tour of the calendar, there is already talk of the new generation for this side of the Atlantic, and sketches appear that advance the design of the Honda HR-V 2023 that we will see in Brazil.
As we can see, the HR-V for the Americas will be very different to the one presented in Europe, at least in terms of design. On this side of the Atlantic, Honda will pursue a sportier-looking design, with more taut lines.
For now, not much is known about the platform or engines. At the time, the engineer in charge of the development of the Honda Vezel - as the European HR-V is also known - confirmed that the American model would use a different platform, tailored specifically for the region's larger customers.
Considering that the European Honda HR-V measures 4.34 meters in length, the American HR-V will be around 4.45 meters long and take a class leap to face models like the Toyota Corolla Cross. For this, the adoption of a more powerful engine is also expected: the 2.0-liter block of the Honda Civic, with power around 160 hp and 190 Nm. Honda did not give an exact release date, although it did mention that the 2023 HR-V will be unveiled this year, so more details should emerge in the coming months. We'll likely see you around here before the year ends.Autonews
