FÓRMULA-1

Honda is out but at the same time inside Red Bull

The successful partnership between Honda and Red Bull ended, but that does not mean that the Japanese automaker is completely out of Formula 1. The Austrian team led by Max Verstappen will receive all the support of the easterners for the production of its own engine, which will be called of Red Bull Powertrains.

And who set the tone for how much Honda will be committed to helping Red Bull and Verstappen in yet another world title was the motorsport manager of the Japanese team Masashi Yamamoto. Next year, Honda will still help in the construction of the power units, as the new Red Bull factory will only be able to be used in 2023.

“We want to make sure Red Bull and Max can continue to compete for the championship next year.” – stated the Honda strongman in an interview with the Italian website Formulapassion.it.

The 2022 F1 season will kick off on the 18th, 19th and 20th of March with the Bahrain Grand Prix, which will be played on the Sakhir circuit. Remembering that the category will have a record of evidence on its calendar next year, totaling 23 races.
