ALFA ROMEO GIULIA & STELVIO GT JUNIOR: HOMENAGEM A UM MODELO EMBLEMÁTICO DA CASA

Brand honors the legendary STELVIO GT JUNIOR

The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio are the two models that currently represent the Italian brand, waiting for other new-batch models, such as the Tonale. That's why to keep them current, Alfa Romeo decided to launch some special editions so that they also serve to take a look at its glorious past with some of its legends.

A few weeks ago we got to know the special edition '6C Villa d'Este' which paid homage to one of its oldest, most beautiful and appreciated classics, the 6C 2500 SS 'Villa d'Este' from 1949. Now, however, the sedan is the Italian brand's SUV dedicate a new special edition to another classic a little more compact and humble, but equally mythical, the Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior from the 60s.

Thus, the special edition GT Junior is now born for the current Stelvio and Giulia, which pay homage to the classic sports compact of the house in Milan. grandchildren in this series of photos.

At the same time, inside there are also nods to this model with the ‘GT Junior’ logo embroidered on the headrests and on the panel in the copilot area, where the profile of the original embroidered model also appears. Added to this are the 21-inch alloy wheels on the Stelvio and 19 on the Giulia.

This special edition was created on the basis of the Veloce finish, so it has all the equipment included in this version, however, mechanically these versions opt for a turbo diesel engine of 2.2 liters with 210 hp, or a block 2.0 liter 4-cylinder aluminum turbo petrol with 280 hp, accompanied by an 8-speed automatic transmission.

For now Alfa Romeo has not given details on the price that will be offered for the Giulia and Stelvio GT Junior that will arrive to further complete the diversified lineup of the two current models from the Italian house.
