NEW HOLLAND

BRAND NEW SERIES ENHANCES COMFORT AND INTUITIVE COMMANDS TO THE OPERATOR

Based on the evolution since the arrival of the L35, the brand's first mini-loader model launched in 1972, New Holland Construction developed for the new 300 Series what is most comfortable and intuitive for the operator in the segment. The new cabin, with repositioned controls and a new design, offers gains in ergonomics that take the L318, L320, L325 and L330 models to a new level in performance and safety.
Aiming at a better interface, the new generation received new air ducts, cup holders, location of USB and auxiliary ports. Access to the cabin is made on a low profile step, reinforcing accessibility regardless of the operator's biotype.
The new joysticks have a narrow grip, with push buttons next to the switches. The buttons are ergonomic, resistant and easy to activate. The controls on the back of the joystick are triggered, improving control over rough terrain in the Ride Control function. As a result, the internal repositioning has expanded the legroom.
Both side panels of the 300 Series adopt new horizontal switches, of larger size and updated design with other products of the brand.

Previously located on the instrument panel, the Operate button, used to release the hydraulic flow from the skid steer, has become larger and is now close to the more intuitive rotary type engine start switch. In addition, a new rotary switch has replaced the hand throttle lever.
“In this way, the whole procedure for getting the equipment moving was even simpler and easier to perform,” explains Esio Dinis, Product Marketing Specialist at New Holland Construction.
Completing the advances in comfort, the new generation leaves the factory with a seat with mechanical or air suspension (optional), in addition to a three-point seat belt.

Evolution of New Holland skid steers
The L35 skid steer was a pioneer in the market by offering a longer wheelbase, providing more comfort and stability. Seeking to ensure the safety of the operator, New Holland Construction also adopted, from the beginning, a mechanism for blocking machine parts, in addition to investing in cabins with overturning and falling objects (ROPs / FOPs).
One of the reasons for pride for the brand is the Super Boom design, which offers the greatest reach in the market. Developed in 1960 by engineer Larry Halls, the technology emerged from the idea of creating a drive joint for cutters that did not require a connecting rod. Halls then developed a four-bar articulation system, patented and transformed into what is now the Super Boom.
“Unlike the competitor's models, our skid steers can load material into the center of the trucks, finishing the job earlier, with better productivity,” says Dinis.
The longer reach also allows the operator to empty the bucket more quickly, improving cycle times for the skid steer.
