KAWASAKI

Z900 is presented with a new 125hp engine

Feel the power in your hands and have total control over one of the most exciting machines in the Z line. The most powerful in the category, with 125 hp, arrives full of news and technologies that will make anyone with their heart racing when they see, and even more when you hear the snoring of the brand new Kawasaki Z900 2021.
Ambitiously more technological, it comes with the addition of differentials such as KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and Power Mode (Power Delivery Control), which can be combined through Riding Mode, with 4 options to choose from: Sport, Road, Rain and Rider (manual configuration). It also has the exclusive TFT and Bluetooth panel that allows you to connect the Z900 to your smartphone, placing the model at a level far above that of competitors. In addition to performance, the look was also improved and the chassis received improvements, the entire lighting system now uses LED and the minimalist modified fairings accentuate what is most special about the Sugomi design.

The 948-cylinder power plant delivers torque of 100 Nm at 7,700 rpm and generates power of 125 hp at 9,500 rpm, which besides being the highest values in the segment, also has some of the main electronic management technologies.
One bike and countless possibilities. Master the streets, the curves of a road or your favorite circuit, feel the precise and vigorous responses of the accelerator and the smoothness of shifting thanks to the assisted and sliding clutch, enjoying the control and agility of the new Z900 regardless of the level of riding.

With Traction Control (KTRC) operating in real time, select one of the 3 modes according to your desired skills and performance. In Mode 1, less electronic interference and more ‘played’, a feature that assists in sports driving with a focus on curves, facilitating the control of acceleration and grip. In Mode 2, interference happens a little earlier, offering a mix of sportiness and casualness in driving, increasing the pilot's confidence with minor corrections made by the system. In Mode 3, the most intrusive, when detecting that the wheel is spinning in false, the sensors send signals to the ECU which reduces the power in the wheel in order to find the point of traction and keep the trajectory under control. This is also the ideal mode for use on wet, gravel and other low-grip surfaces. There is also the possibility to turn off the resources and feel the power of the engine viscerally.

Define a power map with Power Mode. With the map in the Low position, enjoy approximately 55% of the total power available, or if you prefer, select the Full map and have 100% of the 125 hp at 9,500 rpm produced by the Z900 2021 engine. The Low selection is ideal for low grip and the power level can vary depending on the engine's rpm conditions and the throttle position, increasing the feeling of control of the motorcycle. And thanks to the adaptation of the exhaust to even lower levels of pollutant emissions (Euro5), with the new modifications, it doesn't matter the engine's rotation range to hear a fuller and more pleasant snore, besides stimulating for those who like adrenaline.

To facilitate the management of the electronic part by those who pilot the new Z900, Kawasaki included Riding Mode, with 4 options to choose from: Sport, Road, Rain or Rider. In Sport mode, the system activates together the traction control KTRC level 1 and Power Mode Full, while in Road mode the KTRC 2 is activated with Power Mode Full, and to maintain control on low-grip floors, the Rain selection, which activates KTRC 3 and Power Mode at Low. With the Rider mode you enjoy the freedom to combine any modes of traction control with the power control you desire, there are different combinations that can be made while riding via the joystick on the left handle.

Completely updated lighting set, with license plate light, arrows, taillight, position light and headlamp, all in LED. The flashlight maintained the already traditional Z shape, characteristic of the naked Kawasaki family. New design of the lighthouse contributes to the aspect of predator in attack position. New fairings reinforce the aggressive look and size of the bike, as well as new protective fins, fuel tank cover and rear.
TFT panel and smartphone connection bring the new generation of highly technological urban motorcycles to Kawasaki Z900. The 4.3 inch (10.9 cm) screen allows users to choose between 2 background colors with 3 levels of brightness each. In the display, information such as: speedometer and digital gauges, gear indicator, shift light (rpm bar changes color and turns all orange, indicating the time for gear change), fuel level, total and 2 partial odometers, consumption of instant fuel and reserve distance forecast, average speed, total time, clock, coolant temperature, battery voltage, maintenance schedule reminder, oil change, active system indicators (Riding Mode, KTRC, ABS ), email notification and smartphone calls, Bluetooth and ECO mode indicator.

A new way to connect to your Z900, make adjustments and select which software to use through the Rideology The App. Access the motorcycle's history, view riding data files, receive mobile notifications right on the dashboard while riding or save your favorite settings the motorcycle on your device. When approaching the bike, pair and enjoy riding as best as possible.

For those who participate in Track Days, access data similar to the telemetry of competition bikes, review the speed, rpm and gait conditions on the map, according to the route point in an easy-to-read graph, in addition to the acceleration data, braking and even G-force, among others, to further increase training and conversations after a day on the track.
The general ergonomics of the motorcycle covers a wide range of people and physical characteristics. In addition to the arrival of the new tires, Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2, the improved grip and responses to the rider give more confidence to those driving the new Z900.
Named as one of the model's strong points by its owners, the ability to maneuver and the agility in changes of direction were maintained. Some areas of the chassis, such as the swing arm articulation, have been revised, and the suspensions, inverted by 120 mm at the front and 140 mm gas mono-shock at the rear, have received new adjustments to accommodate these modifications. Completing the equipment package and benefits that leave the factory with the Kawasaki Z900 2021, the ABS brakes, which use discs of 300 mm in the front and single disc of 250 mm in the rear.
