MARC MÁRQUEZ WITH HUMBER FRACTURE, AND OUTSIDE THE NEXT RACE

The defending world champion will stay in Jerez for observation for the next 12 hours, before traveling to Barcelona for an operation on Tuesday.
After crashing violently(image above) out of Turn 3 in the final stages of the Red Bull de España Grand Prix, Marc Márquez of Honda Repsol was diagnosed with a fractured right humerus, among other injuries to his right chest.
The hard work of the World Champion cutting through the squad to recover came to an end with a scary looking accident.
After miraculously saving a crash at Turn 4 and then staging an unbelievable return to 3rd, Márquez suffered a fierce lash four laps from the end of the race.
The eight-time world champion was immediately taken to the medical center and was later confirmed by MotoGP Traumatology Specialist Dr. Mir that he had suffered a humerus fracture in the accident.
“Marc Márquez suffered an injury, it seems, from a direct impact of the tire on his right arm, resulting in a fracture in the humerus axis, a complete fracture, although the bone is not completely displaced, with possible paralysis of the radial nerve, although not make sure. This injury was immobilized here for when they decide to transfer him to Barcelona for a definitive treatment. ”
MotoGP Medical Director Dr. Charte also offered information about Marc Márquez: “Tomorrow Dr. Mir will leave for Barcelona to continue treatment, if there is no more news about the tissue, to surgically treat the humerus. That said, we cannot say in absolute terms whether he will be in the next race.
