LAMBORGHINI
NEW PROJECT HAS TWO V12 ENGINES DELIVERING 4,000 CV
the mysterious presentation announced by Lamborghini at the end of last week did not appear to be related to a car, as the announcement had been made in collaboration with a manufacturer of luxury boats, whose name and trademark were clearly reflected in the teaser. In addition, both companies announced the launch simultaneously, so the chances that it was a car were minimal.
So it was not surprising to discover that the mysterious model is really a yacht, but with a clearly sporting vocation. Which also reveals its true nature, because although it is not a car, this stylized vessel clearly has the DNA of the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand.
The name of this design piece is 'Tecnomar by Lamborghini 63' and the involvement of the Italian manufacturer is more than evident, since the boat has numerous features taken directly from the design language of the Italian brand and, even, its designers ensure that they were inspired in some of Lamborghini's most mythical sports cars, such as Miura and Countach. Although the truth is that the most recognizable features are its lines broken by numerous angles and hexagonal shapes, in addition to the various folds that we find in the bow. Evidently it tries to imitate the front hood of models like the current Lamborghini Aventador.
We also found certain details that were taken directly from the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio and the most recent Lamborghini FKP 37 Sian, as is the case with the LED lighting with Y-shaped spellings that we find on the bow and the three-dimensional LED optics on the stern, where also a series of steps that play with the usual hexagonal shapes that are used by Lamborghini designers.
Although Lamborghini used to market nautical engines for a long time, in this case we found two huge V12 diesel engines that were supplied by MAN.
These two huge thrusters deliver no less than 4,000 hp of combined total power, which allows this vessel to reach a speed of 111 km / h (60 knots), which makes it the fastest ship in the catalog of this Italian boat manufacturer luxury.
