Kanaan has reunion with car sponsored by 7-Eleven in Texas

Brazilian will start last season of Indy with most iconic sponsor of his career in the United States
7-Eleven, who served as Tony Kanaan's main sponsor during the most successful period of his career, will be stamped on AJ Foyt Racing's car this Saturday in the opening leg of his last season at Indy.
Kanaan will drive Foyt's famous #14 number in this season's five oval races in what has been dubbed #TKLastLap. At Texas Motor Speedway, he will take the colors he had from 2003 to 2010, when he competed at Andretti Autosport and won 14 wins and the 2004 championship. The Brazilian, who also won the 2013 Indy 500 by KV Racing, said: "coming back with the 7-Eleven to the Texas race means a lot to me. 7-Eleven has been my main sponsor for eight seasons in a row and has become my trademark.”
"Most of my success defending their colors and I couldn't be happier to have them back with a complete paint scheme for my #tklastlap, especially at Texas Motor Speedway.”
"I look forward to starting this season on June 6th and representing 7-Eleven to all the fans who will be cheering at this start of Indy's season. They were more than sponsors of mine, became part of my family and I am very proud to defend their colors once again.”

Texas Motor Speedway was the scene of one of Kanaan's triumphs in his title race in 2004. There, he also has five second places and three third places.
Larry Foyt, president of AJ Foyt Racing, said: "I am thrilled that this has happened as there is a lot of history between 7-Eleven and Tony. This is the perfect sponsor to start this campaign. We look forward to representing them well and making a great race on the ever exciting Texas Motor Speedway.”
