AUTONEWS

The most relevant event of the year

The month of November was special for visionary Elon Musk, because the Revolutionary "Cybertruck" was presented to the world-the pickup that so far raises discussions in the four corners of the planet...The automotive giant surprised the world once again because it presented a product that changes concepts, something totally new in this sector. As soon as Tesla was acquired by Musk, many said that he was throwing money off betting on a fully electrified vehicle-and that this business would be a major failure, because who dominated the automotive market at the time in North America, was the models of traditional automotive automakers with combustion engine...But little more than a decade of this event has passed; and today the traditional automotive giants who want to survive from now on have to make a massive investment in the automotive sector. elétrico...No the current world emissions mitigation policy has gained an enormous force, recently the European Commission has tightened the siege for reducing emissions of harmful gases to the environment in the old continent.
Nowadays it can be said that the automotive electrification that the big traditional manufacturers refused ten years ago, today has become a rule.
The new Tesla family utility changes concepts because its design is totally outside the traditional concept, the brilliant designers of Tesla managed to create straight lines that at the same time become "retro-futuristic"...The square shape of the project raised suspicions of many who even said that the utility would not reach the streets - then came several images of the vehicle walking down California Street at high speed...More controversy arose when aerodynamics experts said Elon Musk's pickup truck would hardly pass the famous "wind tunnel" test due to its bizarre form constantly causing the car to fight the air and the vortexes. Thus, an aerospace engineer decided to check for himself and executed Cybertruck through a CFD simulation (computer fluid dynamics – a computer version of a wind tunnel). The result was surprising, the futuristic utility passed the test with praise.

Another curious fact that has to be mentioned is that the mainstream automotive media tried to anticipate showing in their report what Cybertruck's ways would be like before the release-the result of this was that no reportage could get anywhere near what the ultimate forms of the pick-up would be like. During the presentation the famous test of resistance of the glass doors failed, but after this fact Elon Musk published a video of the glass being tested - the images show an iron ball being thrown on the glass that does not suffer any damage. Another fact that draws attention is the power pack of engines that deliver a final speed of 177km / h, this in the versions of a single engine RWD. On the inside, Cybertruck follows the minimalist and modern look, as usual of the brand. The World Press even tried to put in people's heads mainly image of the shattered glass test of the pick-up during the presentation, but this tactic did not work...What remained in the public's head was the desire to have the utility in its garage, proof of this is that the orders by December 9 already reached the impressive mark of 250,000. And one more curious suit...Elon Musk certainly received his best Christmas gift, which came from an unexpected
place - from the Nasdaq electronic exchange, Tesla's shares reached $425.25 on Christmas Eve...and guess who was responsible for this record rise in Tesla's stock market papers-Cybertruck. This was certainly the most relevant fact in the automotive world.
