SALEEN SPORTRUCK XR: 'REPAGINA' A F-150
Earlier this year, Saleen presented the Sportruck on the basis of the Ford F-150, and now unveils another official preparation more focused on the off-road world. It gets its name from Saleen Sportruck XR and this time relies on the all-powerful Ford F-150 Raptor. The model is already on sale, but the American preparer has not yet specified the official price list.
The new Sportruck XR includes a 63 mm coilover suspension on both axles, as well as modified brakes with 350 mm ventilated front discs with two-piston calipers, as well as discs of equal size accompanied by piston calipers on the rear axle.
Optionally, Saleen can paint tweezers and install 345 or 355 mm discs on the front axle along with six-piston calipers.
Saleen has not yet released the engine performance data. However, the Sportruck introduced earlier this year is available with the same engine in two different versions: a naturally aspirated and a supercharged version offering up to 710 horsepower, so it is expected that both engines will also be available for the XR.
Other notable changes include the front and rear bumper, the grille, the sides and a new rear bucket cover, a LED lightbar on the front, Saleen bumper stickers on the windshield (a classic on these models) and bottom front doors, plus a 17-inch set of wheels with off-road tires. Inside there is a board on the panel with the model's serial number, embroidered head rests in leather, plus custom rugs and a blank instrument panel.
Finally, the Saleen Sportruck XR can also be ordered in the Black Label version, a specific version that includes Fox mufflers with 304 mm at the front and 355 mm at the rear, plus the leather upholstery for the interior.
