FORD TERRITORY: EXCLUSIVE FOR CHINA
Ford has just introduced what will be its new mid-size SUV for the Chinese market, the 2019 Ford Territory. The most interesting of this launch is that, according to the brand, it will be a competitive price model that will offer the technological level of the new Ford Focus. Recalling that the American compact has just been presented, and has a technological package that places it above most of its competitors.The development of the new SUV was completed with the help of Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC), Chinese partner of the brand. Ford Territory enters the offensive that the brand prepared until 2025, the year in which it intends to have introduced about 50 new vehicles in China. Undoubtedly, one of the regions that arouses more interest for car manufacturers.For now the brand has revealed few details of the new model, but we can advance some of them. We know that the Ford Territory will have different driving aids, such as those we saw in the Ford Focus 2019. Among them, intelligent adaptive cruise control and the automatic emergency braking system. In addition, it will feature a state-of-the-art multimedia system.In relation to its mechanical line, we can confirm that there will be gasoline engines and hybrid systems, one of them plug-in. The Ford Territory will not make it to other markets, at least for now.
